3D Smartbox – Final Transnational Project Meeting in Siegen

On 29–30 October 2026, the 3D Smartbox partners met in Siegen, Germany, for a new transnational project meeting hosted by Universität Siegen.

MindLeap joined the other partner organisations for two days dedicated to reviewing the progress of the project, discussing the results developed so far and coordinating the activities to be completed during the final phase.

The meeting provided an important opportunity to look at the project as a whole, reflecting on implementation, deliverables, communication and dissemination activities, as well as evaluation, impact and sustainability. Partners also discussed the final reporting process and the next steps needed to successfully complete the project.

Beyond the working sessions, the meeting also offered the opportunity to explore the local context and strengthen cooperation among the partner organisations.

One of the highlights was a guided visit to the Fab Lab, where partners had the opportunity to discover the facilities, technologies and equipment available for digital fabrication. The visit was particularly relevant to the 3D Smartbox project, providing a practical connection with the use of 3D printing and maker technologies in educational and creative environments.

The programme also included a guided museum visit dedicated to the history of Siegen, offering participants the chance to learn more about the city and its cultural heritage.

The meeting concluded with an informal discussion on possible future cooperation among the partners, building on the experience and collaboration developed throughout the 3D Smartbox project.

The Siegen meeting represented another important moment for the consortium to exchange experiences, review the work achieved and prepare the final steps of the project together.
